The Mexican driver Moisés de la Vara remains in the fight for the top five of the IndyPro 2000 championship, after the second round played at the Indianapolis circuit. The member of DeForce Racing team is seventh of the drivers’ championship with 53 points.
During the first qualification, De la Vara was placed in the ninth position with a best time of 1m20.0147s. In race 1 he reached the third position, but a contact sent him to the 13th place after suffered a mechanical problem as a result of the incident.
For the second qualification, the Mexican obtained the tenth place with a record of 1m19.9744s, going up in the race to the sixth place after a strong fight to defend against Jacob Abel and trying to reach the top five against Parker Thompson.
